Supporters of WFCM help us provide affordable counseling to people in our community — but the coronavirus crisis is having an enormous impact on what we do. The need for mental health services is increasing — more people are struggling with anxiety and depression. At the same time, many people have lost their jobs, and often their health insurance as well.
In a normal year, WFCM raises more than $20,000 through our fundraising dinner, but cannot hold the event in 2020 due to the coronavirus. That’s where you come in. Please consider making a generous donation to WFCM as we work to help the community through this unprecedented crisis.
Every $60 provides one hour of counseling. Your generous donations help us:
- Provide family and marriage counseling
- Help children who are being bullied
- Comfort people in grief
- Assist people in coping with the coronavirus crisis
- Help those struggling with alcohol and substance abuse
- Enable people to overcome mental illness and PTSD
A mailing is going out to WFCM supporters and friends. If you’d prefer to donate securely online via PayPal, simply click on the yellow “Donate” button on the home page of this site. Alternatively, you can mail a check to WFCM at 789 Goucher St., Johnstown, PA 15905.
Thank you for your generous support!
